The Free Consultation

What the consultation covers.

The initial consultation is free and confidential. It is a conversation about the facts of your case and what needs attention first.

  • What the charge is, and what the State has to prove.
  • The criminal case and the separate DHSMV license case, and the deadlines that come with each.
  • What evidence exists so far — the stop, field sobriety exercises, chemical testing, and video.
  • What happens at the first court date and what to expect after it.
  • How the office works with you, and what the next step looks like.

Coverage: Orlando and Orange County, Osceola County, Seminole County, and surrounding Central Florida. If you are unsure whether your case falls within the coverage area, reach out — availability is confirmed case by case.

The Details Matter

A DUI case is more than a police report.

Every DUI case turns on its own facts. The defense begins by examining how the stop occurred, how the investigation was conducted, what the recordings show, and whether the evidence supports the State's allegations.

Reason for the Stop

Review how the encounter began and what the available reports and recordings show.

Field Sobriety Exercises

Examine the instructions, conditions, administration, observations, and available video.

Chemical Testing

Review breath, blood, or urine evidence and the circumstances surrounding collection and testing.

Video and Audio

Compare body-camera, dash-camera, station, dispatch, and other available recordings.

Reports and Statements

Identify material details, omissions, inconsistencies, and the sequence of events described.

Court and License Issues

Consider the criminal case and the separate driver's-license concerns that may follow an arrest.

Straight Answers

Common questions before the first call.

Is the DUI consultation free?
Yes. The initial consultation with The DUI Gyal is free and confidential. You can call the office at 407-274-2598 or submit the consultation form, and the conversation covers the facts of your case and the immediate court and license issues at no cost.
What should I bring to a DUI consultation?
Bring anything you were given at the arrest: the citation or notice of suspension, any paperwork from the officer, your bond or court date information, and your driver's license. If you have photos, video, or the names of witnesses, bring those too — but nothing is required to start the conversation.
How soon after a DUI arrest should I talk to a lawyer?
As soon as possible. A Florida DUI opens two files at once — the criminal case and a separate administrative license case through the DHSMV — and the license side has its own short deadline that starts running from the date of the arrest.
Do you handle DUI cases outside Orlando?
Yes. The firm represents clients across the Orlando metro and surrounding Central Florida counties, including Orange, Osceola, and Seminole. If you're unsure whether your case falls within the coverage area, reach out — availability is confirmed case by case.

Ms. Sabrina and her team at MC & J Law are great at what they do. I had a DUI case that was taken to trial, and was found not guilty. The way Sabrina and her team prepared and executed this case was truly incredible. Best lawyers in Orlando hands down.
