Can a broken tail light or tag light get you pulled over in Florida?
Yes, easily. Florida requires working lamps and lighting equipment on vehicles, and a burned-out tag light, tail light, or headlight is one of the most common reasons officers initiate a stop. It is a low-effort, defensible reason to pull a car over, and from there the encounter can expand into a DUI investigation. Sabrina's practical advice is to walk around your car and check all three, because it removes an easy reason for contact.
